UNACTO- AGM 2009-2010
Dear Members of UNACTO,
The UNACTO board would like to announce our upcoming 2009 Annual General Meeting of the Toronto Branch. In recognition of the June 5th 2009 United Nations World Environment Day theme ‘Your Planet Needs You - UNite to Combat Climate Change”, UNACTO would like welcome you to hear our honoured guest speaker, Georgina Bencsik, who is a trained presenter for the climate and environmental issues.

We encourage all UNACTO members to get involved as volunteers and participate in committees as a first step to possible active board duty. UNACTO relies on our volunteer driven efforts to promote local events, educational programmes, and projects that engage us all in the work of the UN.
We are pleased to invite all interested members of the Toronto Branch to submit the nomination form and apply for board positions for the coming year. Please note, you have to be a member in good standing with a minimum of three months of active volunteering status confirmed 10 days prior AGM in order to be eligible to be nominated for a board position. The deadline receipt of Nomination Forms is May 22nd, 2009. If you are interested, please send your nomination form to:
