Nepal: Sushma’s story
United Nations, February 2009 - Thousands of women and girls are trafficked each year into India from Nepal. Sushma was one such victim, who was able to escape after being sold into sexual slavery. Unlike most other women in her situation, she has succeeded in bringing her trafficker to justice and returning home.
